Tips & Tricks to Get All Levels

Color Bump 3D is a seemingly simple arcade game for mobile devices. The goal of Good Job Games’ new title is to go through all the obstacles without hitting any of the objects that are not the same color as your ball. It may sound easy in writing, but the actual gameplay is nearly impossible to master. There are over a hundred levels to conquer, and the game does not pull any punches. You don’t get a free pass in the earlier levels. You start with difficult levels that only get tougher as you progress.

If you think you have mastered other arcade games, this may just be the challenge you are looking for. The further you progress, the more obstacles you will have to avoid. Soon, it will seem impossible to get to the end of the level without hitting any of the other colors. If you want to complete more levels, then be sure to check out our Color Bump 3D cheats, tips and tricks in a complete strategy guide!

    Use The White Obstacles

The only thing that cannot hit the colored obstacles is your white ball. You will notice that there are white obstacles scattered throughout each stage. You will need to analyze how these white obstacles can be used to your advantage. Obstacles come in different shapes and sizes. You can use them to push the colored obstacles out of the way or use them as a shield while you navigate through each course.

    Don’t Get Yourself Stuck

When you are pushing out the colored obstacles using the white ones, you might assume that they will continue moving on their own. This is a common mistake that new players make, and they end up getting stuck behind the obstacles. Make sure you wait until the colored obstacles are completely out of the way, or that you will be able to use another white object to continue pushing them. Otherwise, you will definitely fail the level.

    Choose Bigger Obstacles

In Color Bump 3D you will find plenty of small white obstacles scattered throughout the levels. It’s fun to watch them fly off in different directions when you hit them with the ball, but they hardly help you with pushing out colored objects. It is better if you choose the bigger obstacles like the long bars in order to clear a bigger path for the ball. Pick the largest obstacle possible and launch it upward to get rid of as many obstacles as you can. You can then use the smaller white obstacles to bump off any remaining obstacles before proceeding to the end of the level.

One thing you should be careful of when moving obstacles is how they behave. Smaller objects are easier to maneuver than bigger ones. You will need to be faster in your reaction times when dealing with large obstacles or you will end up losing them. Worse, you could accidentally push them in the wrong direction, wasting a perfectly good shield in the process.

    Find The Right Spot

Keep in mind that you can move in all directions. You can guide the ball upwards, downwards, left, and right. That means you should be able to maneuver yourself into the perfect position for moving obstacles. Do not restrict yourself in pushing obstacles out from below. One effective way to buy more time to watch obstacles fall is to start at the top of the screen. Doing so will give you a chance to figure out what needs to be done to clear out tricky obstacles that have piled up on the screen.Know When To Let GoSometimes, pushing obstacles is not the best way to get through a level. Analyze the layout of the entire level in order to determine what the most efficient path is. There are times when it is better to take your finger off the screen and just let the ball run in a straight path. In fact, there are instances that this is exactly what you need to do because skewing the path by even a little could have negative results. Consider all possible paths before making a choice. Recklessly rushing through a level will only get you in more trouble.

    Obstacle Shapes Matter

While choosing the size of the white obstacles is important, you should also pay attention to the shape of the object you are pushing. The shapes of obstacles determine how they will behave when bumped. If you push a domino-shaped obstacle, it won’t really move but instead just fall over. You may end up getting stuck if you are not careful. Ball-shaped obstacles, on the other hand, move unpredictably. If you push too much, they could fly off and push other obstacles into undesirable positions. Try to anticipate the behavior of obstacles when you bump into them in order to determine the best approach to each level.

    Need More Power?

As we mentioned earlier, different shapes behave differently. Another thing that impacts obstacle behavior is the amount of power that you use to hit them with. If you need more power to send obstacles flying, you can just make a quick swiping motion behind your ball. Just be careful when doing this because it can cause obstacles to jump over other objects. This could result in more trouble if you get too carried away.

    How To Continue Your Run

There are times when you are almost at the end of the level when you suddenly make a mistake and end up dying instead. When this happens, you have the option to continue where you left off by watching a video advertisement. Of course, you will have to discern first whether or not the level is worth continuing. If you ended up getting yourself stuck or messing up the obstacles in a way that makes it more difficult to complete, it may be better to just start over. The same is true when you die early in the stage. If you don’t want to continue the level and would rather try again with a fresh setup, just wait about three seconds and a No, Thank You button will appear. Tap on it and the level will end.

If you want to continue where you left off but do not want to waste time staring at a 30-second video advertisement, you could try a simple trick. Just turn off the connectivity of your device so the game cannot access the advertisement from the server. This will allow you to accept the ad offer and continue playing without actually having to watch annoying videos.

Clearing a path without touching any of the obstacles is a lot more challenging than it sounds, but if you rely on our Color Bump 3D cheats, tips and tricks, you will be clearing levels in no time!

Color Bump 3D: Cheats And Strategies

Color Bump 3D does what it says on the tin. You – a sphere – bump objects in 3D. Well, only the white objects – touch anything else and you shatter into a million tiny pieces. There’s no coming back from that.

Such a simple concept then, but it’s easy to find yourself failing a specific level over and over again. Considering that you have to watch a lot of video ads to restart stages then it’s all too easy to give up on the game altogether. But worry not – follow these strategies and you should be fine to avoid the restart screen.

    • Shield yourself A simple tip, but one worth making note of anyway – make sure you use the objects to shield yourself when applicable.
    • Wall work When using a wall to protect yourself make sure you take note of its shape. Smaller objects are easy enough to push where you want, but larger ones require a bit more dexterity and fast reactions to control.
    • Keep straight Sometimes just taking your finger off the screen and making your sphere go straight up in a line can be the best strategy in some stages. Even a slight bit of movement can mean you won’t make it through a particularly tricky set of objects – so be careful and consider whether you really need to move at all.

    • Shaping up Pay special attention to the shape of the objects. There’s a huge variety of them, and they all interact with each other in different ways. Domino style blocks simple fall over for example, whereas fellow sphere are largely unpredictable – especially if they’re knocked around by other spheres.
    • Back and forward Remember you can move in every direction – up, down, right, and left. Don’t restrict yourself into thinking you have to move at a certain speed through the stages.
    • Up top If you want lots of time to watch objects fall into place start at the top of the screen. This way you always have the chance to negotiate tricky pile ups of obstacles.

    • Boost power Swipe a quick line up behind your ball if you want to strike a certain item with real power. This can cause it to jump over obstacles in front of it – this can be useful in certain situations, but also make a path impossible to get through. So use this power wisely.
    • Greyed out You can watch a video ad to restart where you left out. But that’s annoying and not much fun, as we’re sure you know. You can find a simple option to restart the stage with no ads involved though – a ‘no thank you’ option appears a few seconds in. It’s hidden away a bit and is a lighter grey though, so keep an eye out for it. Don’t watch those blasted ads unless you have to.

    • No connection You can actually select the video ad restart option and not have to watch an ad if you have no internet connection. This is a particularly useful workaround if you’re on stage you just can’t beat, as you’ll restart nearly exactly where you left off.
    • Slow and steady The most useful advice we can give is – don’t rush. Rushing in Color Bump 3D will almost end in disaster, especially in later stages. Keep your sphere steady and slowly weave your way through the trickier passages.
